Introduction
Tabasuri DT SACCO Society Ltd, a licensed Deposit-Taking SACCO regulated by the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority, invites applications from highly competent, technically grounded, and results-driven individuals to fill the position of ICT Assistant (ICTA).
This is a critical operational role within the SACCO’s ICT function, supporting core systems that underpin member services, financial transactions, and internal processes. The position is intended to strengthen system stability, infrastructure reliability, and responsive user support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing installations of desktop computers, printers and assorted ICT equipment
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records for ICT assets
- Managing disconnections, reconnections, and relocation of ICT equipment
- Installing and configuring computer systems and application software
- Supporting allocation and reallocation of ICT equipment and peripherals
- Installing and supporting local area data communication networks (LANs)
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults (Windows/Mac environments)
- Performing basic network configuration including termination for network use
- Providing user support and help desk services across the organization
- Responding to user queries and guiding system usage
- Conducting routine hardware maintenance and repair
- Recommending disposal of obsolete ICT equipment
- Assisting in maintaining ICT standards, controls, and documentation
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned as from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) or equivalent, with a pass in English and Kiswahili
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a structured computer support role
- Knowledge of SACCO or financial systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Selection will go beyond minimum qualifications and will prioritize candidates who demonstrate:
- Practical Technical Capability: Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and maintain ICT systems independently
- Operational Readiness: Capacity to assume responsibilities and deliver with minimal onboarding
- Structured Work Experience: Exposure to organized ICT environments, preferably within institutional or financial settings
- Systems Awareness: Understanding of system controls, user access environments, and ICT operational support structures
- Regulatory Sensitivity: Ability to operate in a controlled environment requiring system integrity, accuracy, and adherence to established ICT standards
Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating practical, hands-on experience aligned to the SACCO’s ICT operational environment.
Terms of Service: Permanent and pensionable, subject to successful completion of a probationary period in accordance with the SACCO’s Human Resource Policy.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of SACCO marketing strategies, member recruitment drives, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Support front office/member services to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, member outreach programs, and product activations.
- Collect and analyze feedback from members to support product development and service improvement.
- Develop marketing materials and coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.
- Contribute to the management of the SACCO’s digital platforms (social media, website, etc.).
- Actively research potential clients and pursue new business relationships;
- Promote and sell SACCO products and services;
- Identify, qualify and secure business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients;
- Maintain existing business relationships through continuous client follow-up, responding to member enquiries and resolving problems on their behalf;
- Helping in identifying and locating areas of sales opportunities in the market;
- Building contacts with clients;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned as from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Customer Relationship Assistant or similar role in a financial institution.
- A Diploma in Marketing, Cooperative Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A Degree in any of the above disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Office and digital communication tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high levels of integrity.

- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues within the SACCO.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, POS devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Monitor SACCO systems (including the core banking system) for performance, backups, and security.
- Troubleshoot system errors, conduct routine maintenance, and escalate complex issues to service providers where necessary.
- Support data backup, recovery, and security protocols.
- Assist in the implementation of new ICT solutions and upgrades.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
